issues the HPe3000 user is currently concerned with.

to meet the future needs of the business.
4. HPe3000 users are happy with the core functionality of
their existing applications but these are failing to meet
the new functional needs of the business that are often

4.3 Integrating application with other enterprise solutions
4.4 Changing application’s database technology
4.5 Adapting to meet changing business functions and models
5. Many of the current IT staff working on the existing
HPe3000 applications are unlikely to have the skills necessary
to use the new development tools such as Java of web application.
They need training.
6. The minimum requirement of a new application is that
it does all the things the existing application does. Otherwise,
the user will never get to the point of turning off the
existing system.
